 The Troy State football
team welcomed back two key members of its offense on Wednesday as the
Trojans continue preparations for a Saturday date with Marshall at Movie
Gallery Stadium.
Running back DeWhitt
Betterson and tight end Adrian Moore had both been listed as
questionable for Saturday's game. Both players returned to practice on
Wednesday and are expected to start against the Thundering Herd. Kickoff
is set for 6:06 p.m.
Betterson, the team's leading rusher, had been sidelined by a shoulder
injury, while Moore was hampered by a knee sprain.
"We are trying to get
ready," TSU head coach Larry Blakeney said. "It looks like we are
starting to get over some injuries and get everybody back healthy. Our
kids are excited about this game, and we are seeing a lot of enthusiasm
out there." |
